It began with Corrine.
Heppy's Pie Lady started in 1991 with Corrine Weir. What began in her kitchen grew into a local Halifax-area food business built around family recipes and the warmth of home cooking.
The name “Heppy's” honours Corrine's father, Earl Weir, known as “Heppy.” Her mother Yvonne, a proud French Acadian and gifted home cook, helped shape the recipes that became the shop's signature meat and pot pies.

The next chapter
A new Yvonne, the same respect for tradition.
When the original generation stepped away, the business passed to a new owner — also named Yvonne. She kept the recipes and traditions that customers knew while adding foods from her own cultural background to the menu.
Today Heppy's combines that Acadian foundation with an expanded collection of handmade foods, while staying rooted in the small-shop character that made the business special.
